Stephen V. Vallone

Steve brings over 50 years of closing experience.  He is a native of Houston, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas in 1971.  After attending law school for a year and a half, he joined First American Title as a marketing rep in 1972.  His primary duty was taking builders to play golf or go fishing, until management decided that he was to become their new commercial closer.  He entered an intensive training program and began closing.  By age 24 he became a Vice President of First American Title of Houston.

He later joined Transamerica Title as their commercial closer for the region, until 1979.  A new company was being formed by two well-known Texans and college friends, Chris Gilbert and Corby Robertson.  They asked Steve to be the President and commercial closer for the new company. Chris and Corby put together an ownership group composed of developers, attorneys, mortgage bankers and realtors.  The owners were high profile, and active and made their best effort to direct business to the new company.

The company grew and prospered. From 1979 to January of 2007, the company was profitable for 25 of its 26 years, a record unmatched in the State.  In January of 2007 the company was sold to Stewart Title and after fulfillment of his employment contract, Steve moved to Boerne.

After a brief retirement, Steve worked to replicate the business model he had used in the past.  After organizing investors to join him, Texas Investors Title became operational in 2010.  Steve is married to wife, Ann and enjoys hunting, fishing and golf.
